Transformation Lead

About the role

Swiss Re is looking for a Transformation Lead to join its Digital & Technology Reinsurance (D&T Re) Operations & Transformation team in Bratislava. You will work closely with the Head of Operations & Transformation and senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives that strengthen the organisation and evolve its operating model. You will independently lead complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives, turning strategic priorities into practical actions and measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Drive transformation initiatives covering operating model evolution, organisational effectiveness, workforce planning, technology-enabled productivity and partner optimisation, with a focus on efficiency and business impact.
• Own the execution of initiatives: turn priorities into action plans, manage dependencies, resolve challenges proactively and ensure measurable results.
• Partner with senior D&T and business leaders to shape priorities, challenge existing approaches, build stakeholder alignment and drive decisions and implementation.
• Carry out strategic and operational analyses to identify opportunities, evaluate trade-offs, develop recommendations and support data-driven decisions.
• Set up governance and execution frameworks with milestones, performance indicators and reporting mechanisms.
• Develop executive-level recommendations, presentations and decision materials for senior leadership and governance forums.
• Build trusted relationships across technology, business and finance, influencing outcomes without formal authority.

Required profile

• Strong experience leading complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives in large organisations, with accountability for results.
• Proven ability to drive initiatives independently from strategy through implementation, managing competing priorities.
• Excellent analytical and structured problem-solving skills, able to navigate ambiguity and challenge assumptions.
• Strong communication and influencing skills with senior stakeholders across functions and levels.
• Fluent in English.

Required skills

• Executive presentation and analytical skills, particularly in PowerPoint and Excel.

What we offer

• Base salary in Slovakia of EUR 3,300 to EUR 5,400 per month for a full-time role, depending on profile and requirements.
