Account Manager – Client Facing Team, Wholesale Banking

About the role

ING Bratislava is looking for an Account Manager for its Client Facing Team within Wholesale Banking Client Services. The team acts as the Single Point of Contact for international corporate clients, connecting them with the right experts, coordinating solutions and keeping requests moving. You will build trusted relationships with international corporate clients while collaborating across ING to deliver a seamless service experience.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the Single Point of Contact for a portfolio of international corporate clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Client Services teams so that client requests are handled effectively.
• Follow up on open topics and identify cases needing extra attention.
• Manage client complaints and escalations with a solution-oriented approach.
• Take part in client calls and service reviews, and support clients during incidents and other service situations.
• Collect client feedback and contribute to continuous improvement of the client experience.
• Occasionally travel for business and visit clients in person.
• Work closely with Front Office, Transaction Services Account Managers and colleagues across ING internationally.

Required profile

• Excellent written and spoken English at C1 level; additional languages are an advantage.
• Confidence communicating directly with corporate clients by email and phone.
• Strong sense of ownership and initiative to move issues toward resolution.
• Proactive, organized and able to manage several priorities at once.
• Previous experience in banking, client services or another client-facing environment is an advantage.
