Technical Accountant (English, Spanish or Italian)

About the role

Swiss Re is looking for a Technical Accountant for its L&H Reinsurance Operations team in Bratislava. The account manages a portfolio of insurance companies and brokers, and the role is full-time on a one-year temporary contract. The company states that it hires for attitude and trains for skills.

Key responsibilities

• Administer clients' accounts in the portfolio, which consists mainly of insurance companies and brokers
• Verify client data against reinsurance treaties
• Clarify discrepancies and communicate with internal departments and clients
• Analyse data, book entries and manage cash flow
• Proactively investigate and interpret accounting data

Required profile

• Communicative, diligent and analytical, detail-oriented and team player
• Flair for numbers and good knowledge of MS Excel
• Engaged and proactive work ethic
• Proficiency in English, written and spoken
• Spanish or Italian, written and spoken (B1 or B2), is an advantage

What we offer

• Base salary in Slovakia of EUR 1,300 to EUR 2,200 per month for a full-time role, depending on profile and experience
