ING is evolving its organisation for non-financial risk, control and resilience activities and is looking for a pragmatic risk professional who can work independently within established frameworks. As Senior NFR Specialist (1 LoD) you will contribute to risk and control activities across an international stakeholder landscape, with the exact portfolio evolving as the future organisation and service scope are defined.
Key responsibilities

- Analyse information, identify trends and prepare clear reports for stakeholders.
- Advise on the application of policies and procedures and help resolve complex queries.
- Review practices, suggest improvements and support quality, consistency, efficiency and compliance.
- Work with business, risk and control stakeholders, support change initiatives and share expertise with colleagues.
Required profile
- Master's degree or equivalent.
- Typically three to six years of relevant experience, including non-financial risk, business control, compliance, resilience, consulting, transformation or a related field.
- Ability to handle complex, high-volume and sometimes incomplete or contradictory information, and to work independently within established frameworks.
- Excellent command of English.
Required skills
- Advanced knowledge of risk management techniques and relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical skills, including identifying trends and assessing impacts.
- Experience interpreting and applying policies, standards or frameworks and contributing to change initiatives.
- Stakeholder management, verbal communication and reporting skills, including specialist advice.
- Sharing knowledge and practical guidance; supervising junior colleagues is an advantage.
What we offer
- Gross wage of 3,443 EUR per month, with final conditions discussed at the interview.
- Flexible working hours and work from home, with a daily working time of 7h 45min.
- Sick leave compensation of up to 80% of salary, life insurance and third-pillar pension contributions.
- Internal and external learning programs, regular teambuilding and social events.
- Extra 3 personal days and up to 10 extra vacation days per year.
- Referral bonuses, maternity/adoption and wedding bonuses, and a yearly performance-based bonus.
- Cafeteria points, home-office contribution, discounts and a pet-friendly office.
