Senior Digital Business Product Owner

About the role

Cat Digital, the digital and technology arm of Caterpillar Inc., is hiring a Senior Digital Business Product Owner in Kosice. The role defines and delivers AI-driven capabilities that turn VisionLink's growing data ecosystem into customer value, working with engineering, data science and business stakeholders to shape the strategy and roadmap for data-driven product innovation. It also links the VisionLink product organization with the DPM AI team.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the product backlog, prioritizing defects, enhancements, epics and features to maximize business value.
• Turn business strategy, user needs and product objectives into engineering-ready features and requirements.
• Partner with Product Management to influence roadmap priorities and identify improvement opportunities.
• Work with Engineering, UX/UI and stakeholders to deliver product outcomes, and share scope, dependencies, timelines and risks.
• Gather insights from users, dealers and stakeholders, monitor adoption and performance, and recommend corrective actions.
• Make trade-off decisions across scope, quality, timeline and technical constraints, and support go-to-market, release planning, adoption and change management.
• Champion continuous improvement and customer-centric product practices.

Required profile

• Background in data science, analytics, machine learning or data-driven product development; hands-on work with large, multi-source datasets and AI-driven capabilities is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of business analysis, software change request management, software product business knowledge, problem management and UAT.
• Strong product leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Preferred: experience with agile teams, leading digital product or transformation initiatives, defining roadmaps and success metrics, UI prototyping in Figma, and exposure to Aha! and Azure DevOps.
• Preferred certifications: PSPO II, PAL, SAFe POPM or similar; PMP or another project management certification is a plus.
