Investment Operations Specialist (Static Data)

About the role

Swiss Re is looking for an Investment Operations Specialist to join its Asset Management Operations team in Bratislava. The team maintains static data across systems so that the integrity of enterprise data underpins operations and decision-making. The specialist ensures data quality of investment static data, covering counterparties, asset portfolios and bank accounts, in a back-office role with exposure to global financial markets.

Key responsibilities

• Own the setup, maintenance and governance of static and reference data across internal golden source platforms and external systems.
• Perform and enhance end-to-end data integrity checks, investigate discrepancies and drive sustainable resolution.
• Conduct complex and ad-hoc data analyses, identify root causes and work with stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Identify and drive opportunities for automation, process optimisation and simplification to improve efficiency and strengthen controls.

Required profile

• Solid financial markets back-office knowledge.
• Previous experience with investment operations and/or static data management (minimum 3 years).
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Proven track record of process and technology-based improvements.
• Experience managing complex processes independently in a collaborative corporate environment.

What we offer

• Base salary in Slovakia of 1,900 to 3,300 EUR per month for a full-time role, depending on profile and requirements.
