Investment Analyst (Fresh Graduates Welcome)

About the role

Swiss Re's Asset Management Operations team supports the trade life cycle of its products, such as rates and credit products, securities lending, repos, derivatives, collateral payments, real estate investments and acquisitions. As an Investment Analyst, you will reconcile daily cash and positions of Swiss Re investment accounts, see all events in the investment lifecycle and ensure they are executed on market as expected. The role is set up as a maternity cover, temporary contract of 2 years.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily cash and position reconciliation of Swiss Re investment accounts
• Monitor, investigate proactively and resolve outstanding reconciliation items, and report them
• Report investment activity to Finance
• Take part in initiatives and projects and communicate with internal and external stakeholders
• Support internal and external audits
• Suggest process improvements to challenge the status quo

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or another related field
• Basic investment knowledge
• Ability to learn, openness and flexibility for new tasks, detail orientation and analytical skills
• Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Strong teamwork and "can do" attitude

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
