Insurance Operational Intern (German-speaking, Part-Time)

About the role

Swiss Re, a Zurich-based international reinsurance and insurance group, is looking for a student to join its Client Servicing Team in Bratislava as an Operations Intern. The intern supports client servicing units in their daily business tasks and sees how insurance contracts are handled, developing industry skills alongside professionals focused on excellent service.

Key responsibilities

• Support the team in servicing insurance solutions for clients
• Assist with documentation and data management related to insurance policies
• Collaborate with team members on client communication and follow-ups
• Prepare reports and presentations using MS Office and other applications
• Take part in team meetings
• Learn about insurance products, policies and industry regulations

Required profile

• University student, ideally Economics/Management major (others welcome)
• Fluent written and spoken English and German
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn about the insurance industry
• Detail-oriented approach with good organisational skills

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Nice to have: previous experience in insurance, finance or business administration, interest in a career in insurance, knowledge of an additional language
