Site HSE Manager – Project Košice

About the role

Kanadevia Inova, a global player in waste infrastructure and waste-to-X technology, is looking for a Site HSE Manager for its Project Košice. The role leads a strong Health, Safety and Environment culture across the project and contractor teams and maintains the site's HSE management system.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and promote a strong HSE culture across the project and contractor teams.
• Develop, implement and maintain the Site HSE Management System, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, inspections and incident investigations to improve site safety performance.
• Deliver HSE training, inductions and awareness programmes, and support emergency response and Permit to Work processes.
• Monitor HSE KPIs, prepare reports, manage documentation and support supplier HSE qualification and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Degree in Health, Safety, Environment, Engineering or a recognised HSE qualification (e.g. NEBOSH); additional certifications are an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of site-based HSE leadership experience in construction/commissioning on large international projects.
• Fluent Slovak and English, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Slovak and international HSE regulations, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SCC and HSE best practices.
• Certified ISO 14001/45001 auditor with good MS Office skills.

• Indefinite employment contract with a basic gross wage of 2,700 EUR per month (minimum offered).
