Layout Engineer EIC

About the role

Kanadevia Inova, a global player in waste infrastructure and waste-to-X technology, is hiring a Layout Engineer in Levice. The role covers 3D modelling and layout of industrial plant elements such as cable trays, underground pipes, E-houses, diesel generators, HV areas and bus ducts, and coordination of building data and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Modelling and layout of cable trays, underground pipes, E-houses, diesel generators, HV areas, bus duct routing and DCS cabinets
• 3D coordination and building data: cable routes, E-houses, collision checks, load and support positions (BD levels 1-3) and supplier documentation
• E-house maintenance, steel structure modifications, transformer models and technical documentation
• Grounding points with coordinates, bus duct modelling and construction components
• Coordination with DNO requirements and control, DCS, crane and server rooms, and cross-team meetings

Required profile

• Industry experience in oil and gas, energy or EfW sectors with knowledge of piping, equipment, steel structures and civil works
• Ability to develop and optimise systems independently, with a strong understanding of PID diagrams
• Fluent English and Slovak (at least B2); other languages are an advantage
• Strong MS Office skills, decision-making, problem-solving and attention to detail
• Hands-on, able to work under pressure, with integrative thinking and intercultural competence

Required skills

• Proficiency in E3D or similar 3D-CAD software (AutoCAD 3D, SmartPlant)
• MS Office
