Senior Internal Auditor (Engineering, Design & Construction)

About the role

Kanadevia Inova, a global player in waste infrastructure and waste-to-X technology, is hiring a Senior Internal Auditor in Levice. The role audits engineering, design, construction, commissioning and quality management processes on large EPC projects, and works closely with senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Audit engineering, design, construction, commissioning and quality management processes on large EPC projects
• Assess design reviews, engineering change management, interface coordination, documentation control and compliance with standards
• Evaluate construction governance, contractor performance, quality controls, mechanical completion and commissioning readiness
• Identify and assess technical risks such as design issues, scope gaps, rework, delays and quality failures, and ensure effective mitigation
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering efficiency, cross-functional collaboration, execution controls and risk management

Required profile

• Engineering degree with 7-15 years of experience in engineering, construction, commissioning or site execution on large industrial projects
• Strong knowledge of plant design, construction and commissioning, technical documentation and quality management (ISO 9001)
• Fluent English, high integrity, independent working style, international mindset and willingness to travel up to 30%

Required skills

• Ability to identify technical risks, turn them into business impacts and apply audit or risk management principles
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical and negotiation skills; able to challenge senior stakeholders

What we offer

• Indefinite employment contract with a basic gross wage of 3,300 EUR per month (minimum offered)
