R&D Software Engineer – Frontend for AI‑Powered Workflow Builder

About the role

ARIS is looking for an R&D Software Engineer to shape the frontend of ARIS Flows, its next‑generation AI‑driven workflow automation engine. You will work in Košice alongside product managers, UX designers and backend engineers to turn complex business requirements into intuitive, high‑performance user interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement innovative UI components for the visual flow builder, including canvas interactions, trigger configuration and step authoring.
• Build AI‑assisted authoring experiences that surface LLM‑generated suggestions, flow previews and contextual recommendations.
• Apply AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code) for component generation, automated testing, accessibility review and localization.
• Support the full product lifecycle from requirements analysis through testing and cloud deployment.
• Collaborate with UX experts to translate designs into pixel‑accurate, accessible React components.
• Maintain and enhance existing products and troubleshoot customer issues.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of experience in frontend or full‑stack software development.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience building complex UI interactions such as canvas‑based editors.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code) and large language model integrations.
• Knowledge of automated testing, accessibility standards and localization processes.
• Ability to work in an Agile, cross‑functional, international team.
