Senior IT Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Support Engineer (L3) to deliver advanced onsite support for office and factory environments in Slovakia. The role ensures stable and resilient business operations across end‑user computing, server, network and shop‑floor technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L3 onsite technical support to office and factory users, diagnosing complex hardware, OS, application and infrastructure incidents.
• Support Windows client and server environments and, when required, Linux systems.
• Manage Active Directory accounts, OU structures, Group Policies and Azure AD‑related endpoints.
• Troubleshoot LAN, WLAN, TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP issues.
• Maintain server rooms, power and UPS systems, as well as factory‑floor IT equipment.
• Deploy, image, provision operating systems and install applications on PCs, laptops, PDAs and scanners.
• Handle enterprise printer issues, both client‑side and server‑side.
• Oversee endpoint patching, antivirus deployment, monitoring, security remediation and cybersecurity patching.
• Use SCCM, WSUS, MDT, Qualys and other inventory/patch management tools for major updates.
• Develop and run PowerShell scripts, produce technical documentation and train end users.
• Act as escalation point for L1/L2 engineers and collaborate with remote infrastructure, network, security and application teams.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Deep knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, Group Policy and domain services.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot networking protocols (LAN, WLAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience supporting server rooms, UPS systems and shop‑floor equipment.
• Familiarity with OS deployment, imaging tools and endpoint management.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently onsite.
