Azure DevOps Engineer – Professional Services

About the role

The Azure DevOps Engineer Professional will shape enterprise‑grade DevOps capabilities on Microsoft Azure for our Professional Services division. You will combine hands‑on engineering with technical leadership to accelerate, secure, and stabilize software delivery across multiple teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, standardise and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines for application and platform workloads in Azure.
• Define source‑control, branching, release and environment‑management strategies across products.
• Build and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code and automation patterns for Azure environments and shared services.
• Embed security, compliance, quality gates and automated testing into delivery pipelines.
• Establish monitoring, telemetry and feedback loops to enhance delivery performance and platform reliability.
• Mentor engineers, review designs and act as senior technical authority for DevOps practices.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Information Technologies.
• Upper‑intermediate English (C1); German is a plus.
• 3+ years of cloud migration and cost‑optimisation experience.
• 5+ years designing multi‑layered Azure cloud or hybrid networks.
• 5+ years delivering IaaS, PaaS and SaaS solutions.
• 3‑5 years building CI/CD pipelines and serverless architectures.
• Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills; experience with Agile, Scrum and SAFe.
