Transactional Email Specialist (Maternity Cover)

About the role

ESET is looking for a Transactional Email Specialist to take end-to-end ownership of transactional email communications across the customer lifecycle. The role covers everything from trial activation and purchase to renewal, upgrade, onboarding and other subscription or account changes, working at the intersection of marketing automation, customer experience, technology and product. It is a maternity leave cover position based in Bratislava.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end coordination and execution of transactional email communications across the customer lifecycle.
• Manage and improve automated email workflows, triggers and lifecycle communications.
• Coordinate new transactional email requirements with Marketing Automation, Product, UX, IT, Legal, Customer Care and other stakeholders.
• Translate business and product requirements into clear, actionable email implementation requirements.
• Manage email templates, dynamic content, personalization and localization, and coordinate deployment across ESET markets.
• Perform testing and quality assurance, and resolve issues and blockers across teams.
• Keep processes, requirements and configurations documented and continuously improve them.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for transactional email at ESET.

Required profile

• Experience with email marketing or marketing automation platforms such as Responsys, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Bloomreach or Mailchimp.
• Good understanding of automated customer journeys, triggers and lifecycle communications.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical implementation and to work with international, cross-functional teams.
• English at B2 level or higher.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of HTML and troubleshooting email rendering and template issues.
• Basic to intermediate SQL for data selections, segments and automated data imports.
