Global Events Specialist II (Maternity Leave Cover)

About the role

ESET is looking for a Global Events Specialist II (m/f/n) in Bratislava, a maternity leave cover position. You will help plan and run a wide portfolio of events, from large external industry trade shows and ESET's annual global conferences to bespoke gatherings worldwide. The role suits a creative, highly organized collaborator who enjoys working on challenging projects on a global level.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in the full event lifecycle, from planning and budget management to post-event analysis, working with internal teams and external suppliers to meet strict deadlines.
• Contribute creative and conceptual ideas to fulfill the event brief and align with strategic goals.
• Ensure flawless on-site execution by coordinating event staff and suppliers.
• Manage post-event activities such as satisfaction surveys, debriefs and goal evaluations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree; a degree in marketing, event management or project management is welcomed.
• At least 3 years of experience in event management within a marketing department or agency.
• Upper-intermediate English (B2).
• Highly organized, attentive to detail, calm under pressure, flexible and able to work independently and as a team player.

Required skills

• Understanding of graphic design and printing processes.
• Understanding of CRM systems is a benefit.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, time management, multi-tasking and budgeting and financial control.
