Enterprise Architect

About the role

You will serve as the strategic architecture authority for Digital & Tech Asset Management, aligning platform, data, and integration designs with Swiss Re’s enterprise‑wide vision and business priorities. As a senior architectural leader you will drive improvements in resilience, productivity and data‑centric transformation while ensuring security and cost discipline.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Asset Management landscape design and define the target architecture vision, principles, standards and technology roadmap.
• Act as senior architecture authority, set guardrails and govern solution designs against target‑state architecture and major transformation initiatives.
• Translate complex technical and architectural topics into clear business decisions and executive recommendations.
• Define and evolve the division’s data architecture strategy, including data flows, integration patterns, models, lineage and governance.
• Guide decisions on data platforms, APIs, event‑driven integration, master/reference data and AI‑enabled data capabilities.
• Drive technology modernization, evaluate emerging capabilities through PoCs and champion generative AI and intelligent automation.
• Represent D&T Asset Management in enterprise architecture forums and influence enterprise‑wide technology direction.
• Lead architecture reviews, enforce standards, security, resilience and operational excellence.

Required profile

• Senior architectural leader with proven ability to influence enterprise‑wide technology strategy.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to business and executive audiences.
• Experience aligning architecture with business outcomes and capability management.
• Track record of driving data‑centric transformation and technology modernization.
