Senior Analyst MSC Finance Conversion (m/f)

About the role

Mondelēz is looking for a Senior Analyst for MSC Finance Conversion in Bratislava. The role sits within a regional business model managed by Mondelēz Europe GmbH, Switzerland, and covers manufacturing conversion costing, reporting and planning. It is a regular finance position.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely closing and reporting of CoE Manufacturing activities.
• Review evidence and reporting on trials, scraps and other non-standard material usage, including scrap valuation.
• Analyse deviations from plan for all conversion costs to spot opportunities, errors and risks.
• Prepare cost estimates for strategic New Product Developments and coordinate with responsible teams.
• Coordinate year-end landing estimation for plants and calculate fixed cost over/under absorption.
• Calculate losses and variances for the OP Planning Cycle, and prepare and review plant conversion cost budgets (DVL/OVC/DVE/FC).
• Supervise the costing run process (conversion cost allocation to SKUs in SAP) and support Plant Controllers with budget, forecast and report data.
• Partner with Plant controlling and other CoE Finance teams, help simplify and harmonise processes, and carry out ad hoc analyses and projects.
• Contribute to a strong controls and compliance environment and coach and train new team members.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent in Finance, with knowledge of accounting principles.
• Experience in an international environment.
• Fluent English; good communication skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Proactive problem solver with good logical and analytical skills and attention to detail.
