Pricing Analyst - General Insurance

About the role

Zurich's Retail Transformation team is looking for a Pricing Analyst in Bratislava to join its General Insurance Pricing teams worldwide. You will support strategic pricing and analytical initiatives, applying advanced modelling techniques to assess risk, understand customer behaviour and improve portfolio performance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse complex data using scripting languages such as Python
• Design, develop and validate pricing models, including risk and demand models, across P&C insurance products
• Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to pricing problems
• Perform portfolio and profitability analyses to find pricing opportunities
• Build impact analysis, monitoring and decision-support tools
• Contribute to tariff engines and R&D, including testing new methods and technologies
• Support business partners and share expertise with colleagues
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders

Required profile

• Master's degree in Financial Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Quantitative Methods, Computer Science or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in non-life insurance pricing or data science
• English at B2 level or above, written and spoken
• Proactive, solution-oriented and able to collaborate with diverse stakeholders

Required skills

• Risk and demand modelling and portfolio analysis with WTW EMBLEM and Radar
• Python, R and/or SQL
• Statistical modelling and machine learning
