Junior Pricing Analyst – Fresh Graduates Welcome

About the role

Zurich's Retail Transformation team is looking for a Junior Pricing Analyst in Bratislava to join its General Insurance Pricing teams worldwide. You will analyse pricing data, help develop predictive models for estimating customer risk and behaviour, and build dashboards and impact analysis tools. The role suits recent graduates or junior professionals interested in pricing, data science and insurance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare data for pricing analysis using scripting languages such as Python
• Assist in developing predictive models for insurance products, reflecting the risk taken and analysing customer behaviour
• Apply data science and statistical techniques, including machine learning, to find patterns in data
• Explore and analyse new data sources to improve understanding of risk and customer behaviour
• Contribute to profitability analyses and help interpret the results
• Help build and maintain impact analysis and monitoring tools
• Communicate analytical findings clearly to business partners

Required profile

• University education (Master's degree) in Financial Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Quantitative Methods, Computer Science or a similar field
• Fresh graduate or up to one year of experience in Pricing or Data Science
• Upper-intermediate English (B2 or better), spoken and written
• Interest in data research, predictive modelling, statistical analysis and data transformation
• Creative, open-minded and proactive approach; strong communication skills and teamwork

Required skills

• Technical experience in analytics, data management or insurance is an advantage
• Programming knowledge (Python, R, SQL) is a plus
• Experience with Databricks, Visual Studio Code or WTW software is an advantage
