Purchaser

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Purchaser to manage the procurement of goods, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of materials that support our operations. The role works closely with warehouse, production, finance, and sales teams to keep inventory levels optimal and meet customer demand.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and qualify suppliers based on quality, cost and reliability.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
• Negotiate delivery schedules and terms with vendors.
• Monitor inventory, coordinate with warehouse and production, and track shipments.
• Resolve order or delivery issues and maintain accurate purchasing records.
• Collaborate with finance to ensure timely invoice processing and payments.
• Validate customer order lines and communicate updates to sales and order‑management teams.

Required profile

• High school education or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing or logistics.
• Knowledge of purchasing methods, MRP systems and basic procurement processes.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Oracle (ERP) experience.
• Familiarity with MRP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel and Word.
