Mobile Software Engineer

About the role

Join Cisco's Webex Engineering Group as a Mobile Software Engineer. You will help shape the next generation of collaboration experiences across iOS and Android platforms, delivering reliable, high‑performance apps used by millions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain mobile features from concept to production with minimal supervision.
• Contribute to the mobile architecture, shared components, SDK integrations and reusable libraries.
• Drive technical decisions for owned iOS or Android modules, improving performance, startup time, battery usage and accessibility.
• Debug complex issues such as crashes, memory leaks, performance regressions and networking problems.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, UX designers, QA, SRE/DevOps and fellow mobile engineers.
• Enhance release quality through monitoring, telemetry, crash analytics, feature flags and post‑release analysis.
• Leverage AI‑based tools to accelerate development and improve code quality.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience developing iOS or Android applications.
• Hands‑on experience shipping mobile apps in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of development tools and frameworks such as Swift/Xcode or Kotlin/Java/Android Studio.
• Solid understanding of software architecture concepts and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Excellent attention to detail, clear communication and ability to work in diverse team settings.
