IT Procurement / Technology Sourcing Specialist

About the role

Join Swiss Re's global Procurement team in Bratislava as an IT Procurement / Technology Sourcing Specialist. You will own strategic sourcing activities across software, SaaS, cloud, IT services, connectivity, licensing and hardware, driving commercial impact for a leading reinsurance company.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end sourcing processes, including RFIs, RFPs and RFQs for a wide range of IT categories.
• Analyse supplier proposals and provide recommendations to support selection and sourcing decisions.
• Conduct commercial negotiations and contract finalisation with technology suppliers.
• Collaborate with Legal, Risk, Category Managers and business stakeholders across multiple locations.
• Support supplier due‑diligence, onboarding and procurement compliance activities.
• Identify cost‑optimisation and commercial improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to global category and supplier strategies.

Required profile

• Commercially minded procurement professional with experience in the full sourcing cycle.
• Strong analytical abilities and data‑driven decision making.
• Proven ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
