Equipment & Packages Engineering Manager

About the role

Kanadevia Inova, a global player in waste infrastructure and waste-to-X technology, is looking for an Equipment & Packages Engineering Manager in Levice. The role covers the work package including the Balance of Plant and the Water Steam Cycle part, as well as components of flue gas treatment. It involves preparing engineering documentation for internal and external partners, leading an engineering team and taking ownership of purchasing lots and engineering deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Handle the work package "Equipment & Packages Engineering", covering the Balance of Plant, the Water Steam Cycle part and components of flue gas treatment.
• Prepare engineering documentation for internal partners (purchasing, construction site) and external partners (clients, consortium partners, subcontractors).
• Take ownership of the on-time, on-quality and on-budget delivery of purchasing lots and engineering deliverables.
• Lead a team of Mechanical, Process and Arrangement engineers responsible for the functionality of the work package scope.
• Negotiate with suppliers, monitor and control progress, plan resources and ensure communication between the Zurich team and colleagues in other countries.
• Achieve the sub-project objectives in terms of time, quality and cost.

Required profile

• Completed mechanical engineering degree (FH/ETH).
• 5+ years of experience in project management.
• Good mechanical and process knowledge, and ideally professional experience in industrial plant construction.
• Fluency in English; German or other languages are an advantage.

• Indefinite employment contract with a basic gross wage of 2,700 EUR per month (minimum offered).
• 13th salary, 5% annual bonus and extra days of leave.
