Automation Engineer

About the role

Kanadevia Inova, a global player in waste infrastructure and waste-to-X technology, is looking for an Automation Engineer in Levice. The role covers instrumentation design and documentation, supplier coordination and support of FAT/SAT and commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Design and size instrumentation, including hook-up drawings and instrument sketches
• Review and approve EIC documentation issued by instrumentation suppliers and manufacturers
• Prepare and review engineering drawings such as instrument location plans, cable and JB schedules, routing layouts, installation details and interconnection diagrams
• Support FAT/SAT participation and provide site support during instrumentation erection and commissioning
• Supervise instrumentation suppliers and ensure project documentation is complete, accurate and delivered on time

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (FH/TH) in Electrical Engineering, with at least 5 years of relevant experience
• Hands-on experience with instrumentation (pressure, temperature, level, flow) and industrial electrical/automation systems
• Familiarity with ATEX and SIL requirements
• Very good written and spoken English

• Electrical drawing packages (EPLAN 8 preferred; COMOS a plus)
• Instrumentation and industrial automation
