Design Engineer – Mechanical Design

About the role

Kanadevia Inova, a global player in waste infrastructure and waste-to-X technology, is looking for a Design Engineer in Levice. The engineer owns and delivers mechanical design packages for assigned systems, ensuring they meet project requirements, schedules, quality standards and company engineering guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical design packages: 3D models, drawings, BOMs and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with layout planning, procurement and suppliers on equipment sourcing, technical evaluations and contract execution.
• Oversee supplier manufacturing progress, quality inspections and provide assembly and operational documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement, maintain product standards and design manuals, support product development and share engineering knowledge.

Required profile

• Mechanical Design Engineer qualification with 4+ years of experience; Technician or Bachelor's degree is an advantage.
• Experience in project engineering, supplier management and procurement of technical equipment in an international environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to lead technical discussions and develop engineering standards and specifications.
• Fluent English; knowledge of machinery directives, occupational safety regulations and plant/apparatus engineering is a plus.

Required skills

• Mechanical design, sheet metal and welded structures, materials and manufacturing processes.
• Strength calculations and FEM analysis.

• Indefinite employment contract with a basic gross wage of 2,200 EUR per month (minimum offered).
