Vulnerability Management Analyst (Graduates Welcome, Hybrid)

About the role

Swiss Re's Security Team in Bratislava is looking for a Vulnerability Management Analyst to support its cyber defence strategy. Working closely with Incident Response, Threat Intelligence and Engineering teams, you will help identify, prioritise and remediate vulnerabilities across the company's global infrastructure. The role suits recent graduates who have gained cybersecurity knowledge through internships, projects, certifications or lab work, and offers a hybrid setup.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the attack surface to identify vulnerabilities and faulty internal processes, improving the overall security posture
• Work with the blue team to respond quickly to zero-day vulnerabilities and severe threats
• Maintain and optimise the end-to-end vulnerability management process, including SLIs and SLOs
• Partner with the Vulnerability Management Engineering team on identifying vulnerabilities and optimising scanning tools
• Analyse how vulnerabilities could be exploited and turn findings into actionable insights
• Prioritise remediation based on contextual risk ratings
• Support IT asset owners through remediation and risk assessments, and report regularly on security posture to stakeholders

Required profile

• 1+ years of experience in vulnerability management, SOC, incident response or a related field, or recent graduates with relevant cybersecurity knowledge
• Knowledge of corporate IT environments and core security principles
• University degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Business IT or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong written and spoken English, able to explain technical findings to technical and non-technical audiences

Nice to have

• Coding and automation knowledge (e.g. Python, PowerShell, APIs)
• Familiarity with threat intelligence frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK
• Experience in a multinational or matrixed organisation
• Certifications such as CEH, OSCP, EJPT

The base salary for Slovakia is EUR 1,800 to EUR 2,900 per month for a full-time role, depending on profile and experience, with possible performance-based bonus.
