Travel & Expense Accounting Specialist

About the role

Provide technical and general accounting services in line with IQVIA Finance SOPs, US GAAP, and Sarbanes‑Oxley requirements. The role supports daily accounting operations, reporting, and audit preparation for the business unit.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain accounting procedures and instructions.
• Prepare and process journal entries; maintain and reconcile general‑ledger accounts.
• Produce ad‑hoc internal and inter‑departmental reports.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and analysis for the annual external audit.
• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and SOX requirements.
• Support project reporting and suggest process improvements.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and maintain receipts/disbursement reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong ownership and ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
• Ability to exercise judgment within procedures and maintain effective relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.

Required skills

• Knowledge of APPZEN and/or CONCUR (strong advantage).
• Familiarity with Peoplesoft Finance modules.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Technical accounting skills.
• Data analysis and manipulation abilities.
