Junior Tax Consultant – Indirect Tax (Slovakia)

About the role

EY is offering a full‑time Junior Tax Consultant position focused on indirect tax, starting in September 2026. The role is aimed at fifth‑year university students who want to begin their tax career before graduation, with comprehensive internal training and exposure to major corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in projects covering international taxation, HR audits, due diligence and transfer pricing, gaining hands‑on experience.
• Collaborate with colleagues in Slovakia and abroad on tax due‑diligence and acquisition assignments.
• Interact directly with clients, supporting them in addressing tax‑related needs and improving communication skills.
• Assist in drafting legislative proposals and contribute to the development of Slovak tax law.
• Support R&D initiatives, prepare professional articles and contribute to innovation research.
• Prepare professional opinions and analyses together with senior team members.

Required profile

• Ambitious, proactive university student with a strong interest in numbers, finance and consulting.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Slovak, comfortable speaking openly and asking questions.
• Team‑player mindset, solution‑oriented and able to work reliably with colleagues.
