Senior Pricing Specialist

About the role

Clarios, a global leader in advanced energy storage solutions, is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented and proactive Senior Pricing Specialist to join its Pricing team supporting the EMEA Original Equipment (OE) business. The role combines operational pricing expertise with ownership of pricing processes, tools, controls, analytics and transformation activities. It is an operational and analytical pricing role, without authority for customer pricing decisions, contract negotiations or ownership of customer commercial relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Process pricing requests and maintain approved pricing conditions in SAP
• Review and validate pricing changes for completeness, accuracy and required approvals
• Implement approved customer pricing agreements and investigate pricing discrepancies or system issues
• Coordinate indexed-pricing review cycles, including monitoring requirements, preparing or validating adjustments and implementing changes in SAP
• Translate requirements for new business streams into pricing structures, price lists and processes
• Identify process, operational and control risks and support the Pricing SOX control
• Act as primary Pricing contact for OE and IAM audits, explaining workflows and coordinating evidence
• Administer Pricing request applications and related process documentation
• Adapt existing tools and help create dedicated solutions for new business streams
• Drive pricing workflow automation and support AI-enabled solutions that reduce manual errors
• Develop pricing reporting and analyses for the OE channel and give operational insights to Sales and other stakeholders

Required profile

• Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash processes and pricing operations
• Advanced Excel and data-analysis skills; Power Query experience is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to translate business needs into practical process or system requirements
• Good English and stakeholder-management skills in an international environment
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, recurring cycles and complex topics independently
• Proactive, focused on controls and data quality, with a customer-oriented approach

Required skills

• Practical SAP pricing knowledge
• Power Apps, Power Automate, reporting or workflow automation experience is an advantage
