Fixed Assets Accountant (Maternity Leave Replacement)

About the role

Covestro is looking for a Fixed Assets Accountant in Bratislava to cover maternity leave. The role ensures timely, accurate and compliant service for all fixed assets (tangible and intangible) assigned to the position, supporting day-to-day Asset Management operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support investment processes
• Create and maintain asset master data
• Manage the transfer, disposal, change and sale of assets
• Perform reporting and closing
• Manage physical inventory

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent experience, preferably in accounting or business
• About 2-3 years of accounting experience
• Experience in fixed assets accounting within a complex, international business environment is a must
• Basic knowledge of finance and accounting end-to-end processes
• Good communication skills and business-proficient English
• German is an advantage

Required skills

• SAP FI AA module (a must)
• SAP S/4HANA (an advantage)

What we offer

• Minimum base salary of 1700 EUR, which can be higher depending on skills and experience
