Senior FS Preparer

About the role

Kyndryl is hiring a Senior FS Preparer in Slovakia to lead the end-to-end preparation and review of statutory financial statements for multiple EMEA entities. The role also covers coordination with external auditors, tax and legal teams, and ensures alignment between statutory and corporate reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory financial statements for several EMEA entities
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax and legal teams to ensure timely, high-quality statutory audits
• Guide junior team members and review deliverables for quality and consistency
• Ensure accurate alignment between statutory and corporate reporting, including local GAAP versus US GAAP bridges
• Partner with regional finance and controllership teams on complex accounting or audit issues
• Drive process improvements, automation and standardisation across statutory reporting
• Support implementation of new accounting standards and corporate initiatives affecting statutory processes
• Maintain a control and documentation framework for audit readiness and compliance

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; ACCA, CPA or similar certification highly preferred
• 5+ years of progressive experience in statutory accounting, audit or financial reporting in a multinational environment
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and local GAAPs across EMEA
• Preferred: prior experience with Big 4 auditors or large multinationals, exposure to cross-border statutory audits and group consolidation, and experience leading process improvement or automation initiatives
• Additional European languages (German, French, Spanish or others) are a strong plus

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple entities under tight deadlines
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

The salary range for the position in Slovakia is 2,230 to 4,000 EUR for a full-time schedule, adjusted for part-time roles. The company offers a hybrid-friendly culture, well-being programmes and learning opportunities.
