Financial Statements (FS) Preparer

About the role

Kyndryl is looking for an FS preparer to lead the end-to-end preparation and review of statutory financial statements for multiple EMEA entities. The role also covers coordination with external auditors, tax and legal teams, and ensures alignment between statutory and corporate reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory financial statements for several EMEA entities
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax and legal teams to ensure timely, high-quality statutory audits
• Guide junior team members and review deliverables for quality and consistency
• Ensure accurate alignment between statutory and corporate reporting, including local GAAP versus US GAAP bridges
• Partner with regional finance and controllership teams on complex accounting or audit issues
• Drive process improvements, automation and standardisation across statutory reporting
• Support the implementation of new accounting standards and corporate initiatives affecting statutory processes
• Maintain a control and documentation framework for audit readiness and compliance

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; ACCA, CPA or similar professional certification highly preferred
• 5+ years of progressive experience in statutory accounting, audit or financial reporting in a multinational environment
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and local GAAPs across EMEA
• Preferred: Big 4 audit firm or large multinational experience, exposure to cross-border statutory audits and group consolidation, and experience leading process improvement or automation initiatives

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Hands-on experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and stakeholder management across cross-border teams
• Preferred: additional European languages such as German, French or Spanish

The salary range in Slovakia is 1,770 to 3,020 EUR for a full-time schedule, adjusted for part-time roles. The role is described as hybrid-friendly, with career development, learning opportunities and well-being programmes.
