Senior Consultant – Financial Services Transformation (German‑Speaking)

About the role

Join PwC Advisory as a Senior Consultant focused on financial services transformation for German‑speaking clients in the DACH region. You will work directly with banks, insurers and fintechs to turn strategic goals into concrete, technology‑enabled solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with client teams to analyse operating models, processes and regulatory constraints.
• Structure ambiguous problems into clear analyses, decision options and recommendations for senior management.
• Design target‑state processes, operating models and transformation road‑maps and support implementation.
• Act as the main interface between business and IT, ensuring strategic objectives become deliverable solutions.
• Prepare and lead workshops, steering meetings and management presentations, primarily in German.
• Own specific workstreams or deliverables while coaching junior colleagues and ensuring overall project quality.

Required profile

• Fluent in German (C1) and English (B2+), with strong client‑facing communication skills.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in consulting, digital transformation, banking, insurance or related regulated industries.
• University degree in economics, business administration, finance, business informatics, business engineering or a comparable field.
• Interest in technology‑enabled business transformation and ability to navigate complex environments.
• Proactive use of AI‑powered tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Power BI) to improve efficiency and decision‑making.
