Senior CAD Engineer – Project Lead

About the role

Join Inalfa Roof Systems as a Senior CAD Engineer and lead the technical development of roof systems for upcoming automotive models. You will work within multidisciplinary project teams or the Advanced Engineering group, turning complex concepts into detailed 3D and 2D models.

Key responsibilities

• Execute 3D and 2D CAD product development for assigned projects.
• Create and modify moderately complex, parametric models using provided documentation.
• Develop technical resolutions that meet customer requirements and supplier capabilities.
• Ensure all deliverables comply with internal and external product gateways.
• Support project timelines for model development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in CAD engineering.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and stress‑resistance abilities.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CATIA V5 (or Pro/E / Siemens NX).
• Advanced 3D and 2D modeling capabilities.
• Knowledge of production techniques for serial manufacturing.
