Sr Manufacturing Engineer (m/f/d)

About the role

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will design, develop and optimise moulding processes to produce high‑quality components efficiently. You will lead the introduction of new manufacturing methods, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and drive continuous improvement across the production line.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, assess and optimise new and existing moulding processes to enhance product quality, productivity and overall plant efficiency.
• Coordinate the full lifecycle of moulding projects from specification through test runs to production readiness.
• Oversee new processes to guarantee they meet internal, regulatory and performance requirements.
• Implement technical solutions that satisfy customer expectations regarding cost, quality and delivery timelines.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to colleagues working in moulding.
• Deliver technical support, manage performance‑boosting activities, reduce costs and improve product quality.
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for defined production processes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure an efficient and compliant production environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in moulding or injection‑moulding process engineering.
• Strong analytical skills with a track record of root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action implementation.
• Ability to lead projects, coordinate teams and mentor junior engineers.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
