Senior Associate, Accounting

About the role

Kyndryl is seeking a Senior Associate in Accounting to support revenue recognition and contract accounting across its global client base. You will work closely with finance, legal, and operational teams to ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Review customer contracts and modifications for accounting impact.
• Assess revenue recognition issues, including performance obligations and transaction structures.
• Identify non‑standard terms that may affect accounting treatment.
• Prepare accounting position papers, fact sheets, and technical conclusions.
• Participate in contract reviews involving corporate headquarters, audit, or external auditors.
• Support investigations, controls, compliance reviews, and special accounting projects.
• Provide accounting guidance to business, finance, legal, and operational stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong technical accounting knowledge of ASC 606, IFRS 15 and related guidance.
• Analytical and critical‑thinking abilities with professional judgment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Project‑management experience and ability to explain complex accounting concepts to non‑technical audiences.
