Senior Finance Analyst – Italian Collections (FinOps)

About the role

Amazon’s Financial Operations team is seeking a proactive Senior Finance Analyst to manage collections for Italian‑speaking vendors and support e‑invoicing transactions on the Amazon.it marketplace. The role combines direct vendor communication with cross‑functional collaboration to ensure timely payments and compliance with Italian fiscal regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage collections for a portfolio of Italian‑speaking vendors, resolving overdue invoices and payment disputes.
• Communicate daily with vendors via phone, email and other channels to secure payments.
• Analyze e‑invoicing transactions for compliance with SDI and Italian tax authority requirements.
• Monitor aging reports, identify at‑risk accounts and implement collection strategies.
• Collaborate with Accounts Receivable, Vendor Management, Credit/Cash and Tax teams to resolve complex issues.
• Document activities in financial systems and ensure adherence to company policies and Italian regulations.
• Support month‑end and quarter‑end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
• Identify root causes of payment delays and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

• Fluent in Italian (C1) and English.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Experience in collections, accounts receivable or similar finance roles.
• Good analytical and critical‑thinking skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
