Manager Project Controlling

About the role

Kanadevia Inova is seeking a Manager Project Controlling to act as a trusted Finance Business Partner for the Business Unit Controller and local management. You will lead a team of Project Controllers while also handling hands‑on controlling duties for selected projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide financial insights and decision support to the BU Controller and management team.
• Lead and mentor a team of Project Controllers, while directly managing controlling activities for specific projects.
• Monitor project performance – costs, revenue recognition, cash flow, forecasts, risks and opportunities – through regular reviews.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial compliance, audit support and corrective actions for budget deviations.
• Support continuous improvement of project controlling processes, ERP systems and commercial awareness.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in project controlling, FP&A or finance within an international, project‑driven environment, preferably industrial or construction.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS, accounting principles, local taxation, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.

Required skills

• ERP systems expertise – SAP or IFS preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with BI tools and data analytics.
