Credit Controller Senior Specialist

About the role

The Credit Controller Senior Specialist will lead and oversee the end‑to‑end cash management agenda for the Ice Cream business across Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The role focuses on sustainable cash generation and efficient working‑capital use for the three entities.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously enhance the Credit Control process to drive best‑in‑class cash collection performance.
• Manage relationships with credit insurance and factoring providers, including policy administration, reporting, and issue resolution.
• Proactively monitor collections activities, escalate cash collection issues where required, and oversee third‑party collection agencies to minimize overdue receivables.
• Calculate and post bad debt provisions, while supporting legal teams in debt recovery and court proceedings.
• Lead the monthly Debtors Review Meeting with the Finance Director and Finance Controller, providing in‑depth analysis of overdue balances for key customers and driving agreed improvement actions.
• Prepare and share weekly overdue debt scorecards with internal stakeholders, partnering closely with the Global Order‑to‑Cash (O2C) Team.
• Own customer master data related to payment terms and ensure compliance with contractual customer conditions.
• Manage and execute the release of sales orders blocked due to overdue balances or exceeded credit limits.
• Perform and maintain all GFCF controls relevant to Credit Control processes and support internal and external audits, as well as FCA assessments.
• Build awareness, capability, and a cash‑focused mindset across both finance and non‑finance teams within the Ice Cream organization.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable or Cash Management processes.
• Strong knowledge of SAP and related financial systems.
• Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
