Pricing Analyst – Europe & META

About the role

The Pricing Analyst will act as a guardian of the profit and loss statement and a commercial partner to the sales organization across Europe and the META region. The role combines financial modeling, cost analysis and cross‑functional collaboration to maximize profitability, improve win rates and support Lenovo’s commercial strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Deal governance – review and sign off deals within delegated authority, escalating to Profit Manager or CFO when needed.
• Opportunity assessment – work with sales to validate scope and pricing approach for customer requirements.
• Pricing methodology – apply the appropriate pricing strategy to each opportunity.
• Profit maximization – optimize bid profitability using deep knowledge of cost structures and component roadmaps.
• Configuration validation – ensure product configurations comply with standards and avoid unnecessary cost additions.
• Commercial support – provide clear responses for customer tenders and Lenovo bid documents.
• Risk review – partner with Profit Managers and Legal to evaluate non‑standard deal risks.
• Financial modeling – build and adjust pricing and cost models in Excel.
• Price setting – align pricing decisions with market requirements and historical precedent.
• Cost analysis – analyze component cost environments to guide economically advantageous offerings.
• Sales partnering – advise sales on deal quality and competitiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in pricing, sales operations or commercial roles.
• Strong communication skills, structured working style and a proactive, commercially oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel capabilities and financial modeling.
• Experience with pricing tools and financial systems.
• Familiarity with analytics platforms.
