Lead Solution Architect - S2P

About the role

HITACHI ENERGY SLOVAKIA is looking for a Lead Solution Architect (S2P) in Bratislava. The role works with the Product Owner and business stakeholders on requirements engineering and on the change request execution process, supporting the design, build, test and deployment of new solutions or changes to existing ones. It also supports the Product Owner in harmonising and standardising processes and advising on SAP best practices and standard solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct design sessions for Change Requests and clarify technical questions that arise during design.
• Support the Product Owner and business stakeholders during triage of change requests, requirement engineering and the demand management process.
• Enforce adherence to the ERP Platform's guiding principles, especially the fit-to-standard approach.
• Advise on best practices, standard solutions, design approaches and technical options for non-standard solutions.
• Advise Solution Architects on business processes, best practices, functionality and technical aspects of their designs.
• Facilitate alignment between streams on multi-stream change requests and ensure standards are considered with BST / Enterprise Architects.
• Prototype new solutions or changes to standard solutions when needed and keep up to date with emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Master's or bachelor's degree in computer science engineering (preferred), engineering or a similar discipline.
• Certification in S/4 HANA and/or SAP ERP.
• At least 15 years of experience in the IT industry, including 10+ years of hands-on solution architecture in SAP ERP and/or S/4HANA and 5+ years on global projects.
• Minimum 5 years of team lead experience coordinating onsite and offshore teams (functional and ABAP).

Required skills

• Deep SAP functional knowledge, including IMG customizing.
• Technical knowledge of ABAP, debugging, user exits, BADIs, ALE-IDOC, APIs.
• Practical experience with integration tools such as MuleSoft.
