In-House Legal Counsel – Contracts & Employment Law

About the role

We are looking for an experienced In‑House Legal Counsel to provide practical legal support across the organisation, focusing on supplier and customer contracts and labour law matters.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct due‑diligence and risk assessments of current and prospective suppliers, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and ethical standards.
• Review, draft and negotiate supplier contracts, advising on indemnification, liability, warranty and other key clauses.
• Analyse customer contracts, identify legal risks and support negotiation and amendment processes together with sales and operations teams.
• Provide day‑to‑day labour‑law advice, including employment contracts, terminations, employee rights and body‑leasing arrangements.
• Develop and maintain compliance programmes, deliver training, and work with internal audit and risk teams to mitigate legal and regulatory risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, International Law or a related field; additional compliance certification is a plus.
• Proven experience in a legal, contracts or in‑house role, preferably within a multinational or international organisation.
• Strong knowledge of labour law, commercial/business contract law, insurance‑related topics and supplier management.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct supplier due‑diligence, risk assessments and to negotiate both supplier and customer agreements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
