Legal Specialist – Contract Negotiation

About the role

IQVIA is looking for an experienced Legal Specialist to lead the drafting, negotiation and administration of customer agreements for its global laboratory business. The role works with stakeholders across Europe, America and Asia and partners closely with legal, commercial, finance and operational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, revise and negotiate a wide range of laboratory customer agreements, including Master Service Agreements, amendments and confidentiality agreements.
• Manage the full contract lifecycle from initiation to execution, preparing signature‑ready copies and ensuring timely completion of negotiations.
• Maintain contract tracking, reporting and accurate documentation in internal management systems, and produce status reports on expirations and renewals.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers and collaborate with sales, finance, operations and legal teams to address contractual implications.
• Conduct legal research, contribute to process improvements and support global negotiation teams to drive consistency and quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business or a related field; paralegal certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in contract management, negotiation or commercial legal operations, preferably within life sciences, healthcare, laboratory or CRO environments.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross‑functional and international stakeholders.
