Head of Sales – Payment Technologies

About the role

The Head of Sales will define and execute the global sales strategy for a leading payment processing provider. This senior leadership position drives business development, revenue growth and market expansion across multiple regions while working closely with product, operations and IT teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the worldwide sales strategy for issuer and acquirer processing, white‑label payment gateways and digital banking platforms.
• Drive business development and revenue growth across multiple regions.
• Identify new markets, establish a strong regional presence and lead market entry initiatives.
• Build, lead and scale a high‑performing international sales team.
• Set clear KPIs, monitor performance and ensure accountability.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences and client meetings.
• Collaborate with product, operations and IT teams to align commercial efforts.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in payment technologies.
• Minimum 3 years in a sales leadership role.
• Proven track record selling payment acquiring, issuing, white‑label gateways and digital banking solutions.
• Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem and the needs of banks and fintechs.
• Experience expanding into new markets and regions.
