About the role

We are looking for an experienced Economic Director to lead the finance and economics department of FONTANA, a.s., an international manufacturing company. The role is responsible for financial planning, budgeting, cash‑flow management and economic evaluation of production and orders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the economics department.
• Develop financial plans and budgets.
• Manage cash‑flow and liquidity.
• Evaluate production and order economics.
• Oversee accounting, tax agenda and financial closing.
• Prepare financial reporting and analyse results.
• Collaborate with senior management on financial decisions.
• Define and improve economic processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• University degree (second level).
• Proven experience in corporate financial management, planning, controlling and reporting.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for the economics unit.
• Analytical and strategic thinking with attention to detail.
• Understanding of economic results in a manufacturing context.
• English language proficiency at least B2.
