Accounts Payable Team Leader – Hybrid

About the role

Join Swiss Re’s global finance operations as an Accounts Payable Team Leader. You will manage a team of nine professionals responsible for processing accounts payable and travel expenses across all Swiss Re locations, while contributing to finance transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of nine professionals handling accounts payable and travel expense activities worldwide.
• Ensure timely supplier payments, reconciliations and quarterly closings while meeting critical deadlines.
• Partner with fellow team leaders and global stakeholders to align priorities and share best practices.
• Participate in global finance transformation projects and drive process improvements.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of managerial experience in a finance or shared‑services environment.
• Fluent English with strong presentation skills; additional European language a plus.
• Proven ability to coach, develop and retain talent.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with finance systems and data analysis.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP platforms.
