Delegated Underwriting Authority Associate

About the role

As a Delegated Underwriting Authority (DUA) Associate you will be the operational backbone of Synpulse’s underwriting team, ensuring smooth binder acceptance, renewal and data quality processes. This junior‑level position offers the chance to develop expertise in insurance administration while working closely with cross‑functional stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for the DUA team, including document preparation, data entry and quality checks.
• Review contracts, manage binder onboarding and renewal workflows, and coordinate audits.
• Check and close binder final administration tasks and support audit preparation, review and invoicing.
• Schedule and coordinate actions with internal and external stakeholders, handling queries efficiently.
• Assist in preparing and distributing reports, presentations and documentation.
• Update and prepare weekly reports on pending tasks and support monthly DUA data quality control reports.

Required profile

• 0–2 years of experience in the (re)insurance industry, preferably with exposure to underwriting or binder processes.
• Experience handling daily workflows, administrative tasks and meeting team deadlines.
• Basic understanding of Delegated Underwriting Authority business is desirable.
• Proactive, team‑oriented attitude with the ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure in a collaborative, cross‑functional environment.

• Advanced knowledge of English (both written and spoken).
