EMEA Accounting Manager

About the role

Bloomreach is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead its EMEA finance function. You will oversee accounting operations across seven jurisdictions and ten legal entities, ensuring compliance with both US GAAP and local statutory standards while driving automation and AI adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multi‑jurisdictional team of accountants, fostering accountability and growth.
• Own accounting compliance under US GAAP and local statutory GAAPs.
• Manage end‑to‑end statutory and external audits, ensuring timely and clean completion.
• Standardize processes and controls across entities, replacing fragmented practices with scalable workflows.
• Champion automation and AI initiatives to reduce manual effort and increase accuracy.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Tax, Legal, and HR to ensure smooth month‑end close and reporting.
• Serve as primary liaison for external auditors, local advisors, and statutory authorities.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing accounting operations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and local statutory accounting standards.
• Demonstrated ability to lead audit processes from planning to completion.
• Track record of building and scaling finance teams.
• Passion for leveraging technology to modernize finance functions.
