Senior Global Accounting Specialist & IFRS Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Global Accounting Specialist & IFRS Specialist to join our Global Accounting team at ESET Headquarters. The role involves handling complex accounting matters, preparing group financial statements under IFRS, and supporting worldwide entities in a dynamic, global environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare group financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Supervise accounting processes of worldwide entities to ensure accuracy, coherence and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain consistent Group accounting policies and procedures, with a focus on IFRS 15.
• Produce analytical reviews of financial statements and participate in monthly group reporting.
• Provide advisory support on IFRS‑related financial questions and decisions.
• Collaborate with external group auditors and accounting consultants.
• Support other finance departments on accounting issues and contribute to ad‑hoc global accounting projects.

Required profile

• University degree or diploma in Finance and Accounting.
• Additional accounting certification such as DipIFR or progress towards ACCA.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Minimum 6 years of IFRS accounting experience, preferably with IFRS 15.
• Experience in an international audit or tax environment is a plus.
• Strong analytical, numerical and organizational skills with high attention to detail.

Required skills

• IFRS (including IFRS 15) application.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with global ERP and group consolidation/reporting systems.
• Solid understanding of accounting software principles.

• Basic salary starting from 2 900 EUR per month (gross).
• Performance‑based financial bonus up to 10 % of the base salary, paid twice a year.
